Midweek Teaching - Finishing The Year Strong
How do you finish the year strong when life hasn't gone the way you planned? Pastor reminds us that the same God who started the year with you is able to carry you through to December 31st.
Drawing from Philippians 1:6, this message delivers a timely word for anyone feeling behind, discouraged, or sidetracked heading into the final stretch of the year. God has not stopped working on you — and a difficult beginning does not have to produce a disappointing ending.
Three key truths to carry you through October, November, and December:
1. God is still working on us — setbacks and mistakes don't mean God has stopped moving on your behalf.
2. We still have responsibilities — continue to pray, serve, love, give, forgive, and walk faithfully with the Lord.
3. We must trust God with the outcome — the goal isn't just reaching December 31st, it's finishing closer to God with greater faith and wisdom.
Philippians 1:6 (NLT) — "And I am certain that God who began the good work within you will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ returns."
