Tonight’s Bible study launches a new theme: “Getting What You Need From Church.” Pastor Bunting encourages everyone to reflect on their expectations when attending church and why they show up in the first place. This conversation sets the stage for June’s upcoming sermon series on “Touchy Subjects”—topics often avoided or sensitive in the Black church community, including:

• Forgiveness

• Homosexuality

• Women in ministry

• Church leadership

• Hate, envy, and jealousy
